One of the most annoying features of Google Chrome is the ‘www.example.com wants to: Show Notifications’ popup. I hate it. So I’ve written this guide to show you How to block popup notifications on Chrome.

How to block popup notifications of Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll down to Advanced
  4. Click Privacy and Security (Under Content Settings header)
  5. Click Notifications
  6. Toggle to Blocked

That’s it.

This will block all notifications from websites asking for permission to send you notifications.
