PremierFit T100 review: Running
This treadmill is great for people looking to stay fit in the comfort of their homes, however, it’s not for everybody. There are two major drawbacks to this treadmill.
1. The maximum user weight is only 90kg (14.2 stone).
2. It has a top speed of 10 KPH*.
(If that doesn’t fit your needs, check out our review of the Reebok ZR8. It has a top speed of 15KPH and max weight of 120kg.)
If you’re not excluded by these limitations, the PremierFit T100 treadmill represents great value for money and has all the features you need from a running machine. It also comes with a 2-year warranty and a lifetime warranty on its 1HP electric engine.
*10 KPH will give you the following times. 5k 30mins; 10k 60mins; Half marathon 2:06.30; Marathon 4:12.00.
PremierFit T100 review: Design
Design-wise the PremierFit T100 has everything a user needs from a home running machine. It comes with a led display that shows speed, time, distance, calories burned and heart rate (two pulse sensors are located on the handrail).
The dashboard is simple to use. It comes with 12 pre-set exercise modes that use a variety of different forms of interval training to help you achieve your fitness goals. Navigating around the PremierFit T100’s menus and running settings is also easy thanks to eight well-placed buttons. A noticeable feature that’s lacking is the lack of adjustable incline, instead, the machine is permanently calibrated to a fixed angle of 4-degrees. The running belt is a good size too, measuring in at 1100 x 400mm, which gives runners with ample room-for-error when training at home. Should the worse happen and you fall off your treadmill, fear not. The machine also comes with an emergency cut off cord that you can attach to yourself for extra safety.

With this, users can dock their tablets and listen to music or watch videos while they run.

When assembled the treadmill is L 134 x W 65 x H 104.5cm. This can be reduced to L 40 x W 65 x H 132cm when folded. Like all good running machines, the PremierFit T100 also has built-in transportation wheels as well.
PremierFit T100 review: Verdict
It’s impossible to ignore the PremierFit T100’s major limitations that make it unsuitable for runners who weigh or 90kgs or want to train at a pace greater than 10 KPH. However, these restrictions won’t apply to a lot of people, and that’s when the PremierFit T100 represents great value for money. The Reebok ZR8 (£388) and Sportstech F37 (£649) are better choices if you can afford them.
